Travel back with me to the year 2020 (yikes I know)
I was living in Melbourne and working as a Veterinary nurse when COVID hit. You might remember that Victoria had some of the harshest lockdowns in Australia and as a Vet Nurse I was an essential worker so I was still going to work every day. Let me tell you, people were NOT kind, we had restrictions on who could come into the clinic, an influx of patients with all the lockdown puppies and we just could not keep up with demand.
I was burnt out, hard. The compassion fatigue was awful.
I needed a creative outlet. So I dusted off my old Canon1500d and started photography again, an art I had loved in years past.
When my first son came along I immersed myself in telling his story...
It all started with a camera and a dream ...
Three years, a lot of education, practice, perfecting and love later we moved up to Sydney and Sweet Moments Photography was born.
I have now had the pleasure of capturing the stories of over 100 families!
